Players can create characters that essentially fall into one of three classes: Fighter, Rogue, and Mage. Each class has further customization available at certain level milestones, which allows for some differentiation between players. In addition to the three basic classes, characters can also be either elf, or human.
 

Social interaction is the main selling point of the game. Players are able to be "matched" via a matchmaking system, which works by comparing user profiles filled out in the early stages of the game. Players can also join "families" on top of guilds, with up to five members. Families can perform special actions together, such as building vehicles and owning farms.
 

There is a limited number of farms available on each server, and owning one allows family members to share items (via a bank-like system), grow crops, and have a place to socialize away from other players. Owning a farm requires regular upkeep cost.
