”Galaxy Online” is a very complex strategy/simulation game set in space. The game has a huge learning curve, and is easily one of the more complex free-to-play MMOs on the market, making it the ultimate game for the MMO gamer who is bored of playing the “same ol’ same ol’ ”. The game resembles browser titles, and is presented in a very menu and text-driven environment. Starting out, players will go through a short tutorial teaching them the very basics of the game, but most of the how-to is left for the players to discover themselves, either through trial and error, or asking fellow players. To succeed in the game, players will have to create their own base, establish colonies, and then decide what they want to do. For example, would you rather achieve dominance through military strength, or by being a shark-like businessman always taking advantage of others through your deals? As a sci-fi game in space, spaceships are a major part of the “Galaxy Online” experience, and this is reflected by the vast availability of choices players get when customizing their own warships—ships that will serve as not only harbingers of destruction, but also transportation for colonies.
