Red Stone is a 2-D Fantasy MMORPG set in colonial America. There are over 10 classes to choose from and a skill system separate from your base level. Red Stone looks and plays like an old school RPG for the PC.
- Pro: Quests marked on mini map
- Pro: Lots of classes to choose from
- Pro: Lots of skills to choose
-
- Con: Tiny community
- Con: Combat not always responsive
- Con: Aged graphics
- Con: Very slow XP
Red Stone’s homepage is quite deceitful: the game’s art looks phenomenal and it may fool you into thinking the game has decent graphics, but in reality the game looks and feels very dated. Red Stone has so many flaws that it is difficult finding a spot to begin. Combat isn’t responsive half the time if you’re playing as a mage, as your character doesn’t attack half the time and just stands there. Another issue is as a newbie, quests are nearly impossible to find as every quest NPC is marked on the map, even if the quest is too high level for you, so you really can’t distinguish which quests you are capable of completing or not.
