"CampFu" is a virtual world, browser MMO. Players can create their own camper, and participate in a variety of Flash-based minigames, hang out with friends, and customize their avatars with clothing and accessories.
Players begin by creating their own CampFu camper. Campers participate in the virtual camp, performing a variety of camp-related tasks which take the form of minigames. Performing these tasks will grant players “Tickets,” which can be used to purchase apparel, items that can help win minigames, and things such as furnishing for your camper’s room. There are, at present time, four minigames available: Veg-Out, WordMob, FunGeez, and Critter Smackdown. Each game can be played alone, or with a group of other players. Veg-Out places players in the role of a gardener, growing and harvesting plants that customers are asking for; WordMob is a Scrabble-like game, where players must form words using letter tiles; FunGeez is a tile-based puzzle game, where players must eliminate fungi and then clean ducklings with soap; Critter Smackdown is a whack-a-mole like game, where players must defend food from incoming groups of animals set on eating it. In addition to the games and item shop portions of “CampFu,” players can also hang out at the Campground, chat with friends, and gather around a campfire to talk and share stories.
